Cooking pot, unknown site, antiquity
A biconical bowl with a rounded bottom and a lid is one of the elemental Roman types of pottery. It belongs to the range of coarser daily cookware, and has thin walls for better heat dissipation. Such vessels were used in the Aegean area and along the Adriatic coast between mid-1st and mid-3rd centuries.
